HIV & COVID-19: RFP for Research Projects to Help Improve the Understanding and Management of COVID-19 in PLHIV

ViiV Healthcare wants to support the HIV and medical communities during this global pandemic and is announcing a Request for Research Proposals for Investigator Sponsored Studies (ISS). This is your opportunity to apply for a research award from ViiV Healthcare to help improve our understanding and management of the COVID-19 pandemic in people living with HIV (PLHIV).

Objective: We are seeking basic and clinical research proposals for studies within specific areas of interest. Successful proposals will be awarded grants to undertake independent research through our ISS programme.

RFP Priority Areas: The RFP has three priority areas focusing on COVID-19 in PLHIV:

- Epidemiology and Real-World Data (RWD)

- Health care systems management initiatives addressing patient care and outcomes in the COVID-19 environment

- Biomarkers indicative of disease susceptibility, severity, progression, or mechanism
